Folk
Tales, are they a funny version of out past. They usually
include a twist on a true story that teaches a lesson.
Because of the style in which folk tales take on children
are drawn to them. Folk Takes include suspense, mystery
and magic, all the c haracteristics that children love.
For this reason folk tales make for great teaching tools.
Children put the sound of the words and creative illustration
together and let their minds expand on all that there
is to learn. There are emotions, history, clothing, language,
architecture, and many more areas of study. I love the
read of a folk tale and have fond memories of having them
read to me. My hope is to continue to pass on those joys
found with these wonderful stories.
